Three Native American women who changed history: Sacagawea, and the lesser known Marie Dorian and Watkuese. According to the oral history of the Nez Perce, Watkuese saved the lives of Lewis and Clark though they never knew it. Dorian was the 2nd woman to make the trip from Missouri to the West with the Wilson Hunt Party of 1811.
